This evolution requires a new look at how we use our waterways
and bring the life and activity which will secure the waterways for
future generations.
The new moorings strategy has a direct focus on encouraging
people to live and work on the canal as well as developing the
tourist and leisure offering.
British Waterways Scotland has developed a strategy which will
see waterside communities evolve in key locations with people
living on boats, barges and houseboats.
