Glasgow Botanic Gardens

Glasgow Botanic Gardens is a public park located in the West End of Glasgow. It features a collection of trees and several glasshouses housing a collection of tropical and temperate plants, the most notable of which is the Kibble Palace.

Created in 1817 the gardens were originally intended to supply the University of Glasgow as well as be used for concerts and other events. The gardens were incorporated in to the Parks and Gardens of the City of Glasgow in 1891.
